I am a frequent visitor to Etsy, and love to check out the craft supplies, tools and patterns that can be found there. Recently, while exploring, I happened upon the most beautiful set of crochet hooks I had ever seen. And boy do I ever have an addiction to different crochet hooks. So when I saw these, I just had to have them!!!!! They are Too Shay Crochet Hook Handle.
Well, I finally received them yesterday. Are they not the most gorgeous things ever???!!!!
Not only are they nice to look at, but they are wonderful to work with. They look like they may be bulky to handle, but I am absolutely loving to crochet with them. They are so light weight, so soft and smooth. I cannot brag about them enough. They just feel so right in my hands.
These Susan Bates hooks are placed in hand-made wood handles that have been colored and polished. No two hooks are alike - all one-of-a-kind. Just like a piece of artwork - so special to own.
OK - now that I have bragged, and you have had a gander, I am sure you want to know where I got them specifically. I purchased them from Crafty Lady Quilt Lady on Etsy.
She has them where you can buy them individually or in sets. I bought mine in a set of 12 with sizes F, G, H, I, J, K, 0, 1, 7, 8, 9, 10. They also sell them in sets of 6 - with either the small hooks or the larger hooks.
I posted about these on Facebook on my page as well as some crochet groups I am in, I must say they are causing a buzz!!! I have had more likes for my picture of these hooks than any picture I have ever posted on a social networking site. There is a big discussion in the comments of the pictures as well.
This Etsy seller is an artist!!!
Most importantly though - I have just the right tool I need to get my crochet on!!!!!
